1.Challenge

Dr. Elida Bassetti, a neurologist specializing in diagnosis of neurodegenerative diseases such as Alzheimer's and Parkinson's, needed a visual identity that expressed empathy, serenity and trust, without losing the technical and scientific rigor that his specialty demands.
Its audience includes patients and families in situations of great emotional vulnerability - which required a brand capable of balancing medical precision and human welcome.
The challenge was to create an identity that represented the mind as a symbol of care and intelligence, translating the doctor's role into bring clarity and comfort in the midst of uncertainty.

Wandenkolken Design has developed a visual identity with symbolic and emotional foundations, translating neuroscience into accessible and empathetic visual language.

  • Symbol / Logo: The initials “EB” have been integrated organically to form the silhouette of an stylized brain, a subtle representation of the neurological specialty and, at the same time, an icon of intelligence, balance and human connection. This composition reinforces the doctor's diagnostic reasoning and her dedication to the mind as the center of life and care.

  • Colors and psychology: The palette, in soft shades of purple and blue, was chosen for its therapeutic and symbolic capacity - purple is associated with wisdom and sensitivity and blue with calm, confidence and stability. This combination creates a visual atmosphere that conveys tranquillity to patients and reinforces empathy as a core value of the brand.

  • Typography and language: Clean lines, geometric precision and modern typography reflect the professionalism and diagnostic clarity. The balance between soft shapes and solid structure ensures accessibility without losing authority.

  • Applications: The identity was implemented in a complete system of everyday materials - business cards, prescriptions, folders, uniforms, necessaries, email signatures and avatars for social networks - as well as a animated logo to strengthen digital presence and humanize online communication.
