1.Challenge 

Neon Medical Center, a medical clinic located in Caraguatatuba (SP) and a reference in multiple specialties - including hyperbaric chamber treatments - was looking for an a visual identity that combines trust, modernity and human care.
The challenge was to express technology and precision without losing the sensitivity needed in the health sector. The previous brand did not reflect this balance: it lacked a visual language that conveyed professionalism, innovation and hospitality in a sector where trust is decisive.


2.Solution

Wandenkolken Design has developed an identity that combines technical rationality and visual empathy, It uses design principles and the psychology of perception to create a symbol with meaning and subtlety.

  • Symbol and visual construction: Inspired by medical cross, we reinterpret the “+” sign as the brand's central symbol, but implicitly - suggested within the “NEON” logo itself.
    We apply the Gestalt laws, especially those of figure/background and closing, making the “+” appear in the negative area between the letters. In this way, the brand conveys the concept of health and positivity in a subtle and intelligent way, This invites the viewer to “discover” the symbol by looking at it - a visual resource that creates memorization and immediate differentiation.

  • Color and psychology: The choice of neon blue reinforces the values of reliability, technology and medical precision, while the controlled brightness of the color evokes innovation and vital energy, The brand's concept is connected to the very idea of life and oxygenation - also present in the hyperbaric treatments offered by the clinic.

  • Typography and applications: The clean, geometric typography guarantees readability and standardization across all clinical media, from documents and signage to uniforms and digital interfaces, ensuring consistency and clarity at every point of contact.

The result is a brand sophisticated and memorable, It translates care, science and modernity through a precise and meaningful visual construction.
