RC Construtora - Branding

1. Challenge

RC Construtora, located in Ipatinga-MG, needed a visual identity that reflected both structure, quality and accessibility. Although it worked on smaller projects (four-story buildings for low-income housing programs), the company stood out for its use of high-grade materials and refined finish, This was not reflected in the brand's image.
The challenge was to create a visual system that would convey professionalism, consistency and perception of value, even in a “low-cost” segment, elevating the brand without losing its affordability proposition.

2. Solution

We started from a strongly architectural concept - the “fundamental building block”: the brick / regular masonry - to give shape to the new identity.

  • RC“ monogram and golden ratio: The logo was built on the basis of the “square block”, a basic building element, and regulated by the golden ratio proportion. This gave the letters “R” and “C” a visual harmony that combines architectural tradition and refinement.

  • Support graphics - hydraulic tiles: In addition, a hydraulic tile pattern (a reference to interior design/architecture) was developed, also based on the golden ratio. This graphic works as a supporting element in the applications of stationery, uniforms, façade and building materials - reinforcing the idea of consistency and care in detail.

  • Color palette, typography and applications: The typography was chosen for its solidity and legibility, the palette for tones that refer to structure and construction, and all the pieces (stationery, uniforms, helmets, site signs) were designed in an integrated manner, ensuring that the brand became visible, recognizable and coherent at all points of contact.

3. Results
  • High corporate image: The new visual identity has made RC Construtora present itself with a more professional and structured profile, communicating “a construction company that delivers quality” and not just “a low-cost construction company”.

  • Competitive differentiation: In a segment where many companies use generic visuals, RC has gained a unique visual system, with a technical basis and thoughtful design, which serves as a differentiator when prospecting for clients and partners.

  • Consistency and scalability: The visual pattern created (monogram + graphics + applications) allows the brand to be scaled to new materials, supports and work contexts without losing identity or appearing “amateurish”.
